Coolant issues

Well tonight was fun. After dinner the check engine light comes on. Trip to AutoZone to have the code read turned into an ordeal. After getting the code read (P1409), the rear heater hose decided to blow off and dump coolant all over evergreen way. Turned around and replaced hose, coolant. Then on the way home the car started to overheat. Turned on heater and temp returned to normal. Got home and the degas tank was at the top of the hose, so I put the new degas tank in and filled. Car runs right now and no more low coolant light. Whew what a night.
